Lipton makes a decaf tea, tastes pretty good. Use about 10 bags depending on your taste. Experiment with the strength for your liking. Luzianne is good if you can get it. I cant get it in california so I use lipton! Alot of the herbal teas are good to. Try a couple raspberry added to regular, it adds sweetness without the sugar!

If you already have a favorite tea, you can use that for sun tea. If you don't then Lipton decaf is good for a nice strongish, lovely colored tea. Herbals teas taste good, but can look weak.
When I make sun tea (I like strong tea) I fill a big pickle jar (about 2 gallons) with water and add about 15 tea bags. I let that puppy sit out on the table on the deck all day and it's nice & dark when I get home from work.
I like to add fresh squeezed lemon juice and bruised mint leaves to the tea. I add simple syrup to taste for each cup, but I usually don't add it to the whole batch unless the tea is for a bbq or party & will be used up that day.

making iced tea
Making iced tea at home is a breeze! To make one quart of iced tea, steep roughly 1/2 ounce of your favorite tea in 1/2 quart of water heated to the appropriate temperature (see “brewing tea,” above). After steeping, dilute the brew with an additional 1/2 quart of room-temperature water. This allows the tea to cool gradually, which helps avoid clouding caused by chilling most teas too rapidly. Pour over ice or refrigerate. This recipe can be scaled up proportionately for larger quantities.
Helpful hints:
If you like your tea sweetened, add sugar while the tea is still very hot (before diluting it with room-temperature water) and stir. This will allow the sugar to dissolve completely.
Teas from the Nilgiri region of India seem to resist clouding better than other tea varieties.
Many people are accustomed to brewing their iced tea by leaving it out in the sun. We recommend using the method described above instead, which takes advantage of the sterilizing effects of boiling water, as opposed to the “sun tea” method, which can allow bacteria to flourish.

what's suntea? Never heard of that! I'm a herbalist and know of many kinds of teas! Most herb teas are free of caffeine! Many are great tasting. The medicinal ones however some taste worse than Buckley's Cough mixture! There is a tea with no caffeine to me it tastes morelike coffee than tea it's called Morning Brew!
