I'm having a problem resisting pies and other sweets. I can't take them out of the house cuz I'm only 15 and my mom buys them. I've already tried asking her and it didn't work, she needs them for her daycare. So anyway, do I just need to resist them for a few days? Like after those few days will I not want them? Cuz I stopped eating peanut butter for like a week and I don't even care about it anymore. I got over the urge.

And NO I'm not being anorexic. I just want to eat completely healthy food. I'm sticking to chicken, lots of veggies and fruits and tuna and some pasta. :)

Cold turkey is the best way. Cutting back does not work, cuz once you eat some, you will eat more. So just say no to all of the sweet items.

That being said, you need to set yourself up with your own stash of "treat" foods. They are yours alone, and you don't touch your mom' s stuff, she doesn't touch your stuff. One good choice is fat free/sugar free pudding mixes. They make four servings, but you can measure out enough just for one serving if you want and use SKIM milk to make it. The chocolate kind is good. You can dip banana or strawberry into the pudding like a fruit dip. Another "treat" food is low fat ricotta cheese mixed with a little splenda and some vanilla. It is sweet and creamy, and also goes great with fruit slices.

Another choice is to freeze a banana and then blend it up with a little skim milk and splenda. It tastes like a milkshake.

Whenever you make a treat for yourself, make it look really special with a dessert cup or pretty plate and sit down to eat it. That will make you feel like you have really treated yourself. NEVER eat standing up!!!!!!!!!

Ask your mom to keep healthy sweet foods around - eat a few dates or some dried apricots, banana chips or such.

ask your mom to buy more fruit, especially dried fruit and yogurt. I was in your position a few months back. Whenever I got a sweet tooth craving I grabbed some fruit. it worked for me.

start mentally...
think about natural foods, after all, nothing is better for you than what nature gave us, such as fruit, vegitables, grains, etc. also think about eating raw foods, think how all other living things eat raw food, while humans eat cooked stuff. if one must cook it to render it edible, one wasn't intended to eat it.
watch out for oils, salt, fried foods, junks foods, over eating, long ingrediants list, preservatives, colorings, other additives, and suger.
hope I helped

Maybe ask your mother to hide them somewhere, eating a little snack once in a while won't kill you.
