The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I would give you some scriptures to read & ask that after you read them to ponder (think about) what you've read & then pray to God that He lead you in the right direction.
THE GENERAL EPISTLE OF
JAMES 1:5-6
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

For true happiness, stay away from church. Any and every church. You can easily find your way on this planet without being led down the garden path by religion.
You are your own moral compass.
If you want to join something, join a volunteer club that helps those less advantaged than yourself. This is all you will ever need for inner peace.

I would want you to join a believing church - not necessarily mine. It would depend where you lived, for one thing. My church is Baptist, but if through talking with me you ended up joining a Pentecostal church, or a Christian Brethren Assembly, or an Evangelical free Church, or a Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, I would be thrilled. The most important thing for me would be that you would know Jesus Christ as your personal sviour and Lord. Aned that you would want to follow Him.

My church is "The church of self responsibility". I would encourage you to join by pointing out, that you are responsible for yourself weather you like it or not, so you might as well step up to the plate.

Spiritism. We don't have churches, but centers. It is just a place where we get together, pray, read, and have the "laying-hands" treatment.
I would say to you that we believe in life after death, we believe in a spiritual world parallel to this, and that good spirits can interact with us.
I would recommend you to read "The Spirit's Book" from Allan Kardec, the base of our religion, before making a decision.
Peace!

Don't join my home church cuz the pastor secretly hates women(well except his wife and daughters)
I wouldn't tell you what to join because that's your choice. I wouldn't tell you what not to join(maybe to warn you) but in the end it's your choice.

My church: The Church of mr penguin.
I'd pitch it to you like this:
Most people spend their entire lives and vast fortunes trying to find salvation from God. But right here, right now, I can guarantee your eternal salvation for only five small, tax-free payments of $9999.95; Hallelujah, Hallelujah! Glory Be! Let the heavens be opened and angels rejoice!

First Baptist of Orlando.....
We adhere to the scriptures.....and believe them to be Go-breathed and infallable.
We also know that man is sinful and in desperate need of a Savior.
