Ive been very sick since wednesday with a high fever. Today, Friday, I open for a big musical show!! My fever is not as high but i can not absolutly sing, i sound like a giraff. what can i do to get my voice back?? please, this is very important1 i have 9 hrs. to get better!

There is a brand of tea called Yogi - throat comfort. You can find it in the organic section of the grocery store. Its made for singers and public speakers.

Tea with lemon and take a few tablespoons of honey, and for the fever - put some tap water & white vinigar into a bowl and dip the clothe into it, drain and put onto your forehead. this works wonders, you feel like the towel is zapping all of the heat from your forehead. Always works for me :P

Definitely do all that is suggested above, and in addition I recommend gargling with olive oil right before your performance.

....Rest voice... Wrap throat in warm towel for the duration and drink lots of tea with honey...Lots of water to hydrate tissues... and mild saltwater gargles in between...

maybe if you would of went to your doctor when you first starting feeling like crap you would be able to perform for you musical.
gargle with warm salt water that should help..
