The TRUE church started and soon a pervasive APOSTASY began. That APOSTASY BECAME the catholic church.

For about 1000 years the catholic machine KILLED or otherwise SUPPRESSED all attempts to RESTORE the church to its TRUE FORM.

... The TRUE CHURCH does NOT "BRANCH OFF" the catholic. IT was established by Christ and built by his apostles beginning on Pentecost, as recorded in Acts chapter 2.

Various men over the last few centuries have poured their lives into CONTINUING this RESTORATION effort. They came to understand that denominations did not "add up" to truth or the TRUE church...
