Best toothpaste overall.
Experts recommend Colgate Total more often than any other toothpaste. According to both the Food and Drug Administration and the American Dental Association, this was the first toothpaste on the market to include the antibacterial ingredient Triclosan, which has been proven effective for fighting gum disease (gingivitis). Total contains another ingredient -- Gantrez -- that allows Triclosan to remain active between brushings, even after you eat or drink. Colgate Total is not recommended for kids under six years old, since its antibacterial properties have not been tested for young children.

Colgate Total is good and I know what you mean I spent five minutes at the local drug store last week with a coupon for "Crest" Pro Health well they had so many different Crest that I was confused so I just bought the Total instead. I think the way toothpaste used to be was fine..I also like the toothpaste with baking soda and peroxide but the other is just a waste of money.

Any toothpaste that contains Fluoride will do the job just fine.
There are many brands on the market that are targeting people with particular dental ailments, for instance, Duraphat is aimed at people who are at a high risk of Dental Caries, Corsodyl is aimed at people with gum disease.
I use Colgate and as long as it contains fluoride then thats good enough for me.
Just remember to brush fo the recommended time of 2 minutes and rinse out with a mouthwash for fresh kissable breath!

well i always buy aquafresh it has 3 colours all do different jobs it gives you a fresh breath and doesn't leave a nasty taste in ya mouth which i can't stand with some of the other tooth pastes and its cheap well in our local shops it is. Have you noticed tho all the products they have on tv supposed to be the best is always the most expensive too funny that eh? i don't think it really matters which tooth paste you use every one has tooth ache or need fillings at some point a lot depends on what you eat ie a lot of sugary foods etc.. so theres no ovoiding those dentist bills especially if you have all your wisdom teeth come up nothing can prevent them and they are very painful indeed. some people are lucky enough to never have them come through not me tho =(

Crest is the best. They use the highest quality ingredients and after about a week of using it, you can tell a difference. Your teeth will be whiter and healthier. You will notice that the afternoon blaahh rottenish taste will go away, too. Its the best to use. Colgate makes their products sound good but they skimp in certain ingredients. The $1.00 brands are all rip offs because they use very low quality ingredients and don't work well.

I read that ADA recommends Colgate Total. My dental hygienist said the biggest problem is that people do not brush long enough. She gave me an egg shaped , one minute timer . One minute seems long, since before that, I really brushed about 10 seconds. So I guess it's a combination of a good product and healthy dental habits.

I too use colgate total, and have tried others, but i still go back to the colgate total one.
As everyone is different we will not all like the same toothpaste, you could write to the company's and ask them if they would send you some samples, then you can try them out and see which one you prefer.

I too use Colgate Total and like it the best. Seems like they are always coming out with something better or so they say. My dentist who I have been going to for years recommends it. I have tried some of the others but didn't care for them, so I just stick with the tried and true!

in case you prefer to apply toothpaste, make beneficial it isn't the single with the gel. It should be a white paste. The gel isn't good on your pores and skin and makes you wreck out greater. (have confidence me) Lemon juice is sweet for doing away with zits scars so in case you prefer to apply it, you will desire to, except your pores and skin is gentle. you only squeeze some juice right into a bowl and smear it on your face. if your zits is excellent undesirable that is sweet to to pass to a dermatologist. If no longer you could pass purchase some cleansers at walmart or CVS. additionally, those black dots may be blackheads. Yea that is exceptionally favourite.
