Get him fixed is one option. Cats that are fixed usually can't spray anymore (some still will) but if they can't mark their territory they won't wander too far from their scent. But if he follows you turn around and stomp really hard on the ground and yell "NO" in a mean way at him. I know this sounds cruel, but it works. Just whatever you do, don't hit or harm him in any way. If worse comes to worse you might have to give him up.

It is perfectly all right and in fact better for the cat to keep a cat indoors as they are house pets not outdoor ones. I have four cats and none of them will ever go out. I just don't give them a taste of outdoors and they will never want to go out. If your parents won't let you keep a 9-month old kitten in the house 24/7, then maybe they don't want you to have a pet like that.

ok, you have been extraordinarily irresponsible and did not get your cat spayed. Now, you will double that irresponsible act and supply intact kittens away. you will possibly be able to desire to s/n them and s/n your cat. while you're actually not keen to try this, and that i'll anticipate you will not, then a minimum of take the kittens on your SPCA or Humane Society. they'll probable value you a small value to take the kittens, yet they'll s/n them till now putting them. additionally they show the human beings adopting them and value them a value. they'll do a plenty extra effective interest than you finding them solid residences.

It's much better for kitties to be kept inside. If your parents won't let you keep him in the house why did you get him? Indoor kitties can live up to 20 years but outdoor kitties usually live 3-5 years (predators, CARS, disease). I'm not trying to be mean, I am just very passionate about animals.

If your kitten follows you when you cross the road, why don't you pick him up and carry him. It's very dangerous for cats to be outside. You could also try to leash train him. It can be done, but you have to be very patient.

You dont think it's right to keep him indoors but it's OK to expose him to cars, parasites, disease, poison and animal attacks? This would not have happened if he stayed indoors and I hate to tell you but you cant convince an animal to stay behind.

I have 2 cats and I keep them inside the house. When they're out, they can be ran over, illtreated, poisoned and other bad things. Keep the cat in, whatever it takes.

If you cant keep your kitten/cat in the house buy a cat harness and tie him up.My friend did that to her cat and the cat just loved it.Make sure you tie him where he can`t hurt himself.
