I asked a question in the sports section a few minutes ago, and don't know if I'm gonna get a response.

First Q: I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get actual discount codes on roller skates for sites like www.discountskatewear.com; www.skates.com; www.lowpriceskates.com; etc.?

I would really appreciate it.

Sorry that wasn't a religious question, just looking for help.

Second Q: Do you consider God's word the Bible to be instrumental in counsel for today's problems we face? Or do you think the counsel is out of date?

No rude answers please, it's Friday! (((((Smile)))))
Thank you in advance for both answers!

1st question - I'm sorry, I have no idea.
2nd question - the Bible is definitely not out of date. It guides my life today, and I have seen families helped through the teaching of the Bible.

You have to look at coupon code sites. It may take a while to find one and then there may not be for what you are looking for.

I think Gods word to be the only way a person can truly heal from what is considered mental illness. The mind and the brain are different from our physical bodies. Much of what people consider mental illness is actually spiritual illness. How else can killing and raping children be explained? I person has to have a sick spirit to do things like that.
A pastor/priest has what most people need to become well again. There are Christian counselors that do not use drugs that are suppose.

Sorry, no answer from me for Q1.

Q2 Answer: I think it can be. It should be. But there are too many people in power who don't follow the advise given in holy writ. The counsel is certainly NOT out of date, if you understand it. Many take it at face value, not understanding what is being said.

Q#1. I'm no help sorry.

Q#2. I think there are things in the Bible that can be very helpful, things that are outdated and things that just don't make sense.

don't know about the skate thing.

I think the counsel is most definately out of date (as you may have noticed, not many are even living by it--they're still pretty much trying to figure it out. ) You can throw the u.s. constitution in that 2nd part as well....

...Hello; I can't help you on the first one.
...However, on the second my wife and I had wonderful training in Nouthetic counseling, that is, where we use the Bible itself to counsel ourselves and others with problems of life, i.e.,depression, anger, marital relationships, relationship with God, homosexuality, idolatry, money problems, thought life, etc.
...Many of us know 2 Timothy 3:16-17, which says:
"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work."
...Also, 2 Peter 1:4 says this:
...3 seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
...4 For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.
...God's word is sufficient to address our problems and show us God's way to change. We must lay aside the old man, renew the mind, and put on the new man.(Ephesians 4:22-24).
...God's word is definitely sufficient and superior to man's ideas and philosophy, and we have witnessed people overcoming problems like depression, after they began obeying God - and this person had been to counselors for years with no relief and she experienced relief after about 12 weeks of Biblical counseling.
