why won't limewire connect?

I'm trying to use limewire but it always says that it's starting connectiion. it's never connected. My only firewall is the windows firewall. it used to work before i formatted my pc, why won't it work now?/

Turn off your firewall then try if it connect with firewall off then you know your firewall is the problem.

yeah, u can turn ur firewall off, but then u get LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of viruses. plus to that, everybody will be able 2 c what u r doing online, but if u leave it, u probably won't be able 2 connect. i recommend u eMule just google 4 it.
