Anyway, this is how the story goes. I've stopped chatting to this girl for a couple of years now because we used to have many arguments back then, but we eventually saw eachother at a party several days ago. I like her, but I know she has a boyfriend. I won't try and steal her away from him, but I do want to become real good friends with her. I don't have any strong feelings for her, I just like her. I know she has a boyfriend and I won't try and steal her away from him because I know it ain't right. I added her again on MSN because I wanted to catch up on things...My main goal right now is to become real good friends with her, grow a real good friendship. But, how can I grow a real good friendship with her through MSN? What do I do? I mean, I don't want her to think I'm trying to grab her away from her boyfriend..Ive actually thought of asking her and her boyfriend out so we could all just have a good time, watch some movie, play arcade games etc. Your opinion??

WOW you either really want her back or you are a complete retard!!!! you wrote "i won't try to steal her away from him but i do want to become real good friends with her" obviously you like this girl. cause why would you wanna strike up a friendship "a close one" out of the blue after two years if you didn't have feelings. SO MY ADVICE is if you want her let her know man or no man. But if some guy asked me and my girlfriend to hang out i'd go just to knock his *** out

Well talking with someone not in person is fun.
Because you can be really stupid with out feeling that "ok,... strange" thing.
And if you don't want to grab her away it shouldn't seem that way. Just talk to her like you would a normal friend and things should be cool. I wouldn't suggest inviting them over unless you have someone over for you too. That way things don't get weird.

ask them if they'd like to go out to dinner or a fair or something. Getting to know someone on MSN is really hard...you don't know how they really are because for all you know they could be lying. Just take both of them out on the town or something

Just tell her you just want to be friends with her and nothing more. She'll probably tell her boyfriend what's happening so it won't be no confusion. So go ahead.

I think that you should do that. I mean the worst thing you could hear is her saying no.
