Ok heres the issue I want a tattoo that really represents me on the tattoo It has to include my deceased father I don't want a regular tat like everyone else got so I'm trying to come up with one so If anyone has any ideas please help please be serious because this will mean alot to me this will be with me and on my body forever. I can think of a couple but they are to plain I want something extravegant!!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!

Look. Here is what you do ok? Find yourself a good artist. Sit down with him or her and between the 2 of you , the ideas and thoughts will explode. You already have an idea or two, believe me if there is one thing a tat artist can do is take something that is simple and make it complex.

Is there a certain symbol or character that reminds you of your father? What was most important to him? Was there any certain show or idea that you both had in common that you can put into a drawing? Is there a certain animal or qoute that he really enjoyed? If I were you I would search your memory or any of your father's things that may give you the idea you are searching for, it would probably be more meaningful to you if you can determine the right design for this tattoo since it seems very personal and important. No one else can really design something that will represent your father or your relationship with him better than you. Hope that helps and Good Luck!!!

i had posted a ques. like this earlier when i was looking for ideas for a tattoo in my boyfriend's memory & recieved some wonderful suggestions.( u might want to check those out)
the tatoo should be something powerful and expressive. i don't recomend 1's with initials or alphabets.
and also, u might want it somewhere that only poeple close to u can see it not at a place where its blatantly visible because people might keep asking u 'bout it anywhere u go.( i go it on my lower back and the pian helped me get through the toughest part of my life it helped me make sacrifices and move on). but , then again, u might want people to see it so its completely ur choice.

Just a suggestion, maybe consider a beautiful ribbon with a saying of some sort with your dads favorite flower or even a rose curling around the ribbon. A tattoo artist can shoot some ideas at you as well.
Inside the ribbon , just a idea, maybe put remembering Dad,
Love Dad Always. Good luck on whatever you pick, but that would be one idea.. have fun :)

Can you pick something that you see as a metaphor for your father? Did he love something like a bug or a flower or a sport? Watch that show Miami Ink, a lot of people get memorial tattoos and have good stories behind them. Perhaps that will start your thought process working.

google BMEzine see what you come up with. Browse tattoos to get ideas. Think of something unique to you. I just got my first tattoo last weekend.( not my last!) I got 3 stars on my right foot. I got stars because my little boys favorite song is Twinkle twinkle.....and there are three of them bacause he is 3 years old, I got a blue one which is my hubby's fav color, and a purple & green which are my fav colors. Theres tons of meaning to me. Although lots of ppl get stars mine are unique in meaning to only me. It doesnt have to be extravagant to be special. Good Luck, I hope my babbling helped. :)

Sit back, close your eyes, and imagine what is most important to you in your life. Maybe visualize something that represents your father to you in your mind... like if he always wore flip-flop sandals, get a flip-flop tattoo. Something quirky like that.
