Im 18, about 172cm (5"7") tall and I weigh 80kg. Im currently a full size 12. I dont look overweight because im tall its just my stomach & hip area that are troubling me, is there any special exercises i can do at home to fix this?
My metabalism is very slow and anything i eat goes straight to my hips, thighs & butt! I was 68 kg 6months ago I have gained 12 kilos since then, I want to go back to an average size 10, can anyone give me some tips please! ... Is the Detox/Cleansing system any good?

Have you thought of getting your thyroid checked? A hypoactive thyroid could be causing you to gain a little extra weight.

But on the flip side you may be overeating just a little bit. Your Basal Metabolic Weight (BMW) is 1655.25 calories based on your age, weight, gender, and height. BMW is the calories you would burn if laying in bed all day. What you want to do is aim for those calories or be slightly below to burn more weight and incorporate exercise (preferably aerobic 1 hr a day). You probably don't want to bulk up just yet with weights. Good luck!

Something that I have found to work is making sure you eat breakfast. I thought the same thing of myself up until January of this year and I started eating meals regularly and making sure that I did not eat after 7ish. In the first week I lost 7lbs. Also there is a website that you can go to called mypyramid.gov where you can enter your weight and height and it will show you the amount of each food group that you should eat each day and the number of calories that you should consume. This has worked for me so far and it's not a strict diet that you have to follow and if you use mypyramid.gov it is healthy and good for your body as well. Wish you the best of luck!

If you think you have a slow metabolism you should get it checked. Usually people say this, but don't really suffer from a very slow metabolism. You're too young to have a slow metabolism. I know, I used to fit in this category. I thought I had a slow metabolism, but really, I just wasn't going about it the right way.

You need to learn to do cardio. To lose weight, you have to burn more calories than you take in. Also, try cutting out extra calories. Eat more fruits and veggies and fiber rich foods. Cut out simple carbs, sugars, and junk food. It takes while to lose weight, so be patient.

Do cardio exercise. That's the best way. If you are out of shape start with 15 min. then when you feel like it go up to 30 and so on. When your doing cardio 45 min. a day you will drop the weight. You don't even have to change your eating habits. Also eat six meals a day. Small, nutrient rich mini meals. That will make your metabolism faster.

Eat a balanced diet...3 meals including plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Eat small portions of meat 3 to 4 oz. for dinner and/or lunch. Meat can be prepared by baking, broiling, roasting, grilling.....just no frying. Avoid fast food at all costs. Prepare home cooked meals...they are much heathier and you control the fat and calories. Make sure to have at least two healthy snacks per day....one mid-morning, one mid-afternoon. Try not to eat after 7:00 pm. The snacks will help keep your metabolism going.

I use Isagenix cleansing system. I have lost 22lbs so far. 12 in my first 9 day cleanse.

Have your thyroid checked. The thyroid regulates the metabolism. If it is sluggish, you can take synthroid to help.
