Hello,
A few days ago I realized I had a rather large bump on my head. It's just above my ear and hard to the touch. It's not red or anything, but it is sore when I push on it. Any ideas? I pretty much just want somebody to tell me it's not serious becuse my insurance doesn't kick in until April 1. Thank you!

Maybe it's a swollen gland. Even if your insurance doesn't kick in for another week, you can see a family doctor and make payment arrangements for the $40 bill. It's still only 20 more than you'd pay with insurance because of your copay. If it doesn't get better, then why worry yourself to death for a week when you can know what it is and get rid of it?

It could be due to an infection ingrown hair insect bite especially spiders and if it was a spider bight it could be serious take some benadryl and see if it gos down or try peroxide to see if it is infected

Oh my it might be a mosquito bight or even an ant bight, or maybe ring worm. Maybe a spider bit you if it it is any color but your skin color then you have a problem. Prepare To Die!!!!!
