Check the AKC website for a list of breeders, or even the breed club in your area.
You don't want to buy from a Puppymill or BYBer, you want a quality dog with some sort of health guarantee... Registered, pedigree, and someone who knows their dogs and can help you if you need it.

Don't buy from a petstore, they buy from puppy mills. No self respecting breeder would ever sell their puppies to a petstore, so when they tell you that they are getting them from a breeder, it might be true, but it's not a breeder who cares about the breed, only one who cares about the cash.

Hi, if you're in the UK then I'd recommending checking out the Puppy Sales Register on the Kennel Club website:
http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/436

I'd also have a look on the Champdogs website where there are a couple of litters of puppies advertised - but also details for breeders across the UK:
http://www.champdogs.co.uk/guided/all_wire-fox-terrier.html

You could also try:
http://www.pets4homes.co.uk/pets4homes/home.nsf/PV?SearchView&Query=(FIELD%20TypeTX=Dogs)%20%20AND%20(FIELD%20BreedTX=Fox%20Terrier)%20&start=1&count=10&SearchOrder=3&ExactMatch=True&SearchWV=FALSE&SearchFuzzy=FALSE&SearchMax=250
http://www.epupz.co.uk/search/puppies_for_sale.asp?breed=Fox+Terrier&area=all&st=1&Submit=Search+++

Hope these help you

To find a reputable breeder, go to one of the breed clubs listed at the bottom of the link:
http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/74
They should be able to put you in touch with responsible breeders who have litters available
