This isn't about your weight. This is about your boyfriend's lack of respect for you. He's a rude, insensitive jerk and you can do much better. Extend the break for another 75 years and move on! And tell him why before the door closes.

Ya know, my guy used to do this as well, except his remarks would not even be in a "funny" way. He would say things like "JUST LOOK AT YOU", my response was always, "what's wrong with me? I like me". I also carry most of my excess weight in the mid-section and quite honestly, think I look okay. Wouldn't win no bathing suit contest but I wouldn't compete so no loss. The comments men make are cruel, hurtful and they first must realize that they are NO FRICKIN PRIZE so I'd point out to him his faults, receding hair line, balls hangin too low, nostril and ear hairs are out of control, *** has too many pimples and let him know that if he don't like what he sees that the month long break you just got done taking will have a permanent extension.....good luck and if the love handles are a little too much he can take his pot smokin fat butt down the road!

Dump him! He has no respect for your feelings and that is very important to maintain a healthy relationship. If anyone insults you or makes fun of you, it's because of their own insecurities and they need to take it out on someone else. Rise above him and find someone worth being with. Good luck to you.

Have him sit down and from the start you tell him not to say anything, just sit there and listen. (have him look at you) Then tell him how you feel and make it as clear as you possibly can and if he still continues let him know it is over!!! You deserve better!!WAY BETTER!!

Let him know in no uncertain terms that you will not be spending any time with him if this behaviour continues. Sounds like you will have to deliniate for him exactly what he's doing that annoys you, he's obviously either clueless or just plain mean.

Why did you take a "break" from each other anyway? If it had anything to do with the issues you have shared then you know already..well hell you already know that he isn't good enough for you. Tell that loser to KICK ROCKS!!

Tell him that instead of making rude comments that hurt your feelings he could spend his time breaking his drug addiction and going for walks with you or bicycling together. It probably makes him feel better about himself to pick on you. If won't stop, leave his hiny behind!

OMG!!!!!!!!!! Your life is precisely the same as mine, and I mean ALL of it. How do I handle it? When he opens his mouth I tell him to word what he is going to say extremely carefully. Sometimes that works and sometimes not. However, he is slowly learning that his snotty remarks are counterproductive and makes me depressed. When I am depressed, NO ONE in our house is happy either.

Guys are generally stupid and they have this notion that teasing and pointing out flawas is ok. Yes they want us to stroke their lame a$$ egos. If it hurts you then you need to tell him. Any man that continually hurts you IS NOT WORTH IT! This is what turns women into finding women partners.

You already answered your own question. He persists in making fun of you, and you don't like it. You've made your position clear, and he doesn't care enough about you or your feelings to be considerate.
Dumpster.
