I would like to buy a case of bullets (around 1000 or so) for 223 and the same amount of 7.62x39 bullets. I am not worried about the quality of them . . they are for target shooting and plinking out in the desert. (ar15 & ak47). Thanks, Randy

www.cheaperthandirt.com is pretty good. Gun shows are also pretty good, no shipping charges - which can get pretty expensive.

As a side note...... Personally, I'd stay away from the Wolf rounds for the American made firearms, actually most manufacturers agree. Wolf ammo is coated with a shellac, which builds up pretty bad. American made firearms are built to MUCH stricter tolerances than the communist block firearms and does become a problem after a while.

Rule of thumb - American made, American or NATO ammo, Communist block made, shoot anything.

My Yugo SKS gobbles up the Wolf, I wouldn't dare use it in my Mini 14.

Check out www.cheaperthandirt.com. They always have case deals on military surplus ammo. Just cut and paste the link.

Gun shows. You don't have to pay shipping and usually tax either...

I buy 1,000rds of .223 for $125.

Graf's have Privi bullets for reloading and they are about half the price of domestic bullets.
