My dog uses Eukanuba dry dog food small bites for adult dogs small breeds. On the news it showed a bag of the food she eats, yet I hear it is ony the moist dog and cat food can you let me know. They should not show the dry dog food on news reports. Chico, CA and Redding

I have added the link to the web site for Menu Foods recall below. They are the company that makes the recalled pet food. Follow the links for dog food and then click on the brand you buy. You will get the list of all items for that brand with the lot numbers to check against what you have at home. This is the best way to be sure that your dogs food is safe. Hope this helps and I hope the food you have is safe.

your dog is safe....its only the wet, moist, or semi moist food that has the jelly-like substance in the cans....the problem is with the jelly....dry food is safe, but if you do notice any lethargy, lack of appetite, or vomitting anytime soon...call you vet and call Eukanuba to tell them...

it is the wet gravy as the thickening agent used in the gravy is what is contaminated which is why the other canned foods and dry are at this time safe.
