Do you want a new advert? You could show that in third world countries like India and the poorest African countries, many people speak two to five languages.

Then show rich Americans, Germans and Japanese who speak only their native tongue (maybe a second language, but not that well).

The G-7 nations probable have less bilingual people (and I do include Canada, their French is generally awful) than anywhere else. And the poorest parts of Britain and the US are also the bilingual parts.
