A few days ago our city coungil banned pitbulls in are town of Yakima Wa , and I really dont understand how they can do such a horribl thing ! I have had my pit for over a year now ! HE IS A PART OF ME ! I am not going to just let them do away with my dog ! I mean its not even the pitbuls faulghts !Every breed of dog im sure has the capability of being dangerous . theres good and bad in every breed . I feel pitbulls just got a bad rap . In fact I myself once was not sure if I was making a bad choose by keeping my pit , He was a rescue all his sibbling excapt for him at birth was drowned some how he survived ! Then the poor little thing gotton abbussed and some jerk poored candle wax all over him he was 4 weeks old at this time ! we not only gotton a family pet we have a new family member . talk to my friend, Jennyfer Keohane. She runs a pit bull rescue in Texas and is active in protests against such actions banning one particular breed. Tell her what you put on here and ask what you can do to get this unfair ruling lifted. I'm putting her site under the source so it's easy to find. I've had pit bulls in the past, and you're right, like any pet they become family members. Most pit bull aggression is caused by inbreeding or abuse as "fight training." I can tell you really love your pet. Seriously, go to her site and contact her about this...if she asks, tell her Andrea gave you the site. i think thats wrong, i think its more the owners than the breed....and i own a american staffinshire, and yeah hes big but i know he would never hurt a fly....
