my male dog is allways licking his bits and thay have now become very red with black spots is this normal?

I bet its some sort of allergy. If you take him to a vet they can put one of those funny looking cones around his neck to keep him from licking...(give it time to heal). I'm sure the vet can prescribe something to keep it from itching.

It probably has an allergy to the grass... and will lick the area that iches the most.. try a benadryl
