does anyone know how to remove water stains from wallpaper? had a burst pipe and wall is now dry although badly stained

Unfortunately, the water stains will not come out, no matter what you use. You don't have much of a choice but to repaper the wall.... sorry... I know this isn't what you wanted to hear. Unfortunately, the water has seeped into the fibers of the paper and there's nothing that can be done about it... If you have insurance, this should cover the cost of repairing and papering... And it's important that you do because the water could have seeped into the wall behind, which is not good because sooner or later, you'll have mold growing behind there... You need to get that paper off, wash the wall with bleach and repaper or paint... If after that, you start seeing mold growing through, you'll need to open the wall. Mold is a VERY REAL health hazard....

You can try blotting with bleach, being careful of course. If this doesn't work: the stain will have to be sealed and painted or rewallpapered.

Lemon jusice helps get rid of alot of stains.I dont know if this would work on wall paper for though.
