I use to live in San Diego, now I live in St Louis Mo.
The smells I associate with San Diego cuisine are without a doubt the mexican food. I couldn't tell you how many times I have wished to just go to the local Albertos and grab a carne asada burrito or some real guacamole. St Louis has no good mexican food, and I have tried dozens of places.

There really is everything in San Diego. You have the great Mexican shops, Sushi bars, and Italian restaurants. And everything is so close to the beach. This is what I think about San Diego and why I love it here.
