My ex has lied to several people about the reason why we broke up. I am ashamed of what he has told them. I want the truth to be known. Should contact them and let the whole truth. I have no contact with these people (well his family members) but I would like to tell the truth. What should I do?

If you are planning to re unite with him then go and tell them the truth. Otherwise why do you care?
Most of the people lie when they are explaining the reason for break up.
If the truth helps regain your reputation and your bf then its worth a million.
But I would say as you have already broken up with him just go find another nice guy and make your ex-bf feel that he has lost something valuable in his life by breaking up with you and then later he might realize that he has done something wrong in lying and he will come up with the truth which wil be even more respectful for you.

well it kinda depends. Where you close to the family that he's telling this stuff to? If you are, then I say give them a call and tell your side. But honestly, you shouldnt let it bother you. They have no concern to you anymore, so who really cares what they think of you. At least you know deep down they are lies.

Call them and tell them the truth, it will make you feel better, But they will probably still believe him since they are his family.
