The delicious aroma of chestnuts roasted by a street vendor. I haven't seen them in about two years. Where are they?

New York is just so full of smells that it's hard to pin down, but I guess it would be a toss up of the smell of baked goods as the bakeries blow the smell of their goods out into the street to get people to come in and buy, and the smell of hot dogs as the vendors are everywhere in midtown.

Smells that reminds me of NYC:

Smell of pizza baking in an old brick oven
Smell of pretzels being heated/cooked by streeet vendors
Chinatown - ducks and other exotic meats being cooked/roasted

I've lived in many different places, but these scents remind me of New York the most :)

Smell: Dog urine. The smell is everywhere. Sorry to be gross, but nothing is more associated with memory than smell. And this is the smell I remember when I think of New York City.
