i get one when i am 16 i am almost 15 i juss want and idea of something not too big and cute for me. i want it on my lower back.
any ideas for me.

Tattoos are really personal.
I have 5 of them and I KNOW that I will NEVER see them on anyone else because they are really mine.
Think about the things you like and/or believe in and start sketching. If you are not the best artist talk to your friends, give them an idea of what it is you would like and see what they come up with.
My first was an angel on my shoulder to watch over me. Not such an original concept, I know but my angel is an original.
Also, talk to tattoo artists whenever you can. They are amazing artists and can ofter draw an original for you. Most importantly, the tattoo should follow the contour of the body part it is being put on.
The lower back is a good spot but I must warn you that the area is quite tender especially if you bring it around toward your waist. I have been building on my back piece for a while now so remember that you can add to them later if you want to.
There are tons of tattoo pics on line. Google "flash art" or tattoo images and go from there. I cannot stress enough that your tattoo should be yours alone.
Just remember that you are going to have it for the rest of your life and do not get an impulse tattoo.
Oh, and that they are addicting!

Don't start with your lower back.
Maybe your ankle or shoulder.
Your first tat should be one you
can see and enjoy. And hide if
you need/want to. (job interview)
Look at a lot of tattoos and find
something that means a lot to you.

Whats something that interest you..........You could get a fairy, butterfly, shapes(stars, hearts, etc.), a design....I dunno......I have happiness in Japanese on my lower back and Im planning to get honesty or loyal in Japanese on my wrist.....So it really depends on what interest you/what you like b/c it is permanent............Good Luck

It is illegal to get tattooed when you are under 18, and the artist can be arrested by the feds for child abuse.
