I want to use my microphone on my PC (this a normal mic that I use for MSN and Yahoo Massenger to have voice chat ) and get my voice on the PC speakers.
do I need to download a software for this? or do i need to change the PC sound properties ? HOw do I do it ?

Go to the sound section in the control panel and active the mic for the speakers. Please make sure you have taken into account the possible feedback bu using a unidirectional mike or making sure that the speaker and the mike a suffient distacne and volume away from each other>

However, make sure that you have a Unidirectional Mic otherwise the feedback is horrendous

Right click on the speaker icon on your task bar and click "Open Volume Controls).

You should find controls for your mic and Uncheck the mute box. You should be able to her yourself through your speakers.
