I just got a cat about a week ago. She is about 2, recently had kittens (before I got her) and she was spayed at the shelter on March 1. She has this little spot underneath her ear that is perfectly round with no hair. I would say it's a little less than 1/2 ince in diameter. It's not red or flaky like if she had ringworm.... In fact the skin looks perfectly healthy, no scar or anything, just no hair-- and no sign that hair will grow there?? Anyone have any idea what it is? It looks healthy so I don't feel much concern, just a little curious... Thanks!

She doesn't itch it or pay any attention when I touch it...

Unless it seems to be bothering her and she is itching at it all the time,. I would not worry to much about it. Keep an eye on it to see if starts bothering her or if it starts to change. If it does, get her to the vet for a check up. You can also call the shelter that you got her from and ask them about it. See if maybe they noticed it and had it checked out or treated.

I would say that your cat just went through the stress of having kittens. I would give it a bit to grow back and if there is no luck then it would be okay to seek a vet and if she starts to lose more hair I would seek a vet because it could be a form of feline Alopecia.

I think thats normal. If it's on both ear's. But if it's on one you may have her looked at. As it could be like maybe an allergy or something like that does she itch it alot? or groom excessively?
