Ah, but in John 14:14, it says, "what ever you ask will be given to you."
"Dear Jesus. Within the next sixty seconds, please have me posessed by Legion. In your name I pray, Amen!"

According to Christians, demons must do what God/Jesus tell them to do. That's why I'm not asking Legion to come to me, I'm asking Jesus to force Legion to me.

Actually, this started as a tongue in cheek satire, much like Hammy (I still have the empty box if anyone wants to see it on web cam!!!). However, it occurs to me that this is a valid way to get at the truth of a deity -- the existence of a demon to posess me would, in fact, be proof of a deity.
So there you go... pure H. P. Lovecraft pursuit of truth, and of all the demons mentioned in the Bible, I'm going after the Cthullu of them all, Legion himself.

Yes, I'm aware of the intrinsic silliness of the question. While there is some validity to the general chain of questions, I make no claim to the validity of any specific part of the chain. ;)

You mentioned that you had read the Bible 20 times. I'm sure you understand Matthew 7:11, and the intent behind John 14:14.
Matthew 7:11
'If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!'
The assumption is that the asker is intending to see something good, a 'good gift'. Most people don't ask for harm, knowing the difference between pleasure and pain.
-------
Also, 'legion' isn't a single demon, which of course you knew before you asked.
Your question is really non-sense, when looked at from a Biblical perspective.

It is complex to comprehend a few matters, you truthfully need to research & wish to serve the Lord greater than your self. I did not come to grips with this for a while after I had permitted Christ. God does reply our prayers however typically he says no. If you're confessing & asking forgiveness that's exceptional; are you doing it so that you could have whatever you wish? (I'm no longer insulting you) at a few factor in each and every ones lifestyles we have now all performed that. We is not going to obtain if we do not relatively do it in some way that offers God the Glory. I'm sixty two, I've learn the Bible oftentimes over & whenever I learn it I be taught whatever new. You see, "we're made for God & through God, God is not made for us. If you learn & research to be taught The knowledge that the Lord has placed their for you & pray for that, you'll be able to begin having extra know-how. God guarantees to provide us what we'd like, however typically there's a rule to comply with."If a person does no longer paintings he will have to no longer devour." Christ additionally is aware of the long run, typically he says, "no", in view that if we had what we desired it could take us clear of taking the proper course. Just believe him, getting mad a God is a hopeless increase, 1st he is proper whether or not we wish him to be or no longer, & moment he does not provide towards his will. Then final He needs to be the Lord of our lifestyles, no longer any person else & no longer whatever else. One scripture with out the leisure of them (they all) cannot start for use for self reap....God is well and devoted to us, we don't seem to be to him. We fail, & God is not a merchandising computing device that you just installed a prayer & get a prize. He additionally offers in his possess time, might be you get it later or simply in a nick if time, then individuals see what God has performed. Praise the Lord, the worst factor you'll be able to do is speak all the way down to Him...He does not need to do some thing, no longer even provide you day after today, all of us must consider that....God Bless you & provide you the knowledge you're searching for

The catholic church does not take the bible literally; it is a set of stories helped to convey messages from God. The details aren't important- look at the two creation stories, they contradict themselves right off the bat. The two stories just want to say that god created the world and it is good. Don't dwell on things like that, its a waste of time.

No, John 14:14 isn't wrong, but the God who loves you would not answer this prayer, because He knows how terribly it would harm you.
Also, I have been praying for you all day long after I read your first post of wanting to be possessed by a demon.
I am hurting for you and your desperation.

In John 14: 14 Jesus was speaking to those who followed Him, believed in Him and were willing to die for Him.
He wasn't speaking to you because you don't even believe in God.
Besides, it seems that you are already possessed by a deceiving demon so be happy, your prayers have been answered.

That is a very dangerous thing you're doing--your last question too. Do not mock God or 'entertain' the devil. Whether you believe he exists or not,he is real and would love to get you in his grip. He is no joke. Find less dangerous ways to get your kicks.

I don't have a Bible in front of me, but I believe you are referring to where Jesus said we would have anything we asked in his name. He was speaking to his followers, that is, the body of Christ, and not to some jerk who is just trying to be a smart alec.

Take your evil soul and your evil entities and go slither under a rock with them;
you are obviously already taken by them,
so they don't need to bother with you;
quite frankly, those spirits know an idiot when they see one, and if you think they want to be your buddy, you are even more stupid than I originally thought.
