This will only makes sense to the regulars. I went 48 hours without YA as agreed to on Wednesday. Most of the people who have left over the past couple of weeks express belief in a god or spirits of some kind.

Could the atheists not leave because Yahoo Answers, Religion and Spirituality is their god whom they cannot go without?

Interesting. I never got the memo. This is the first time I've seen that question, so I don't think it is a matter of addiction but a matter of lack of information. Oh yeah, I'm not an atheist. The very few answers that question received might bear witness to its narrow dissemination and might help explain why so few abstained. I think the real problem with these "experiments" is that they are undertaken on spur of the moment, and those of us who attend sporadically can so easily be left in the dark.

No. Its because people who believe in invisible, imaginary things say a lot of funny and very stupid things.

Also, someone needs to be the voice of reason. The biggest problem with people questioning their religion is that they are usually surrounded solely by people who follow that religion. That's brainwashing to the extreme.
