Do you think *THIS* will work to get me posessed by Legion? I've decided this is the specific demon I want to be posessed by!

I'm currently fewer than 15 credit hours away from a degree in divinity and theological studies.
I've read the Bible, cover to cover, over 20 times. Most of those times, I believed it with my entire being.
I no longer believe, because I see no evidence.
Being posessed would be proof positive, would it not?

The true purpose of demons are to keep you away from God. If you are already doing that then why would they waste their time on a already, "claimed victim"

Depends on how merciful God wants to be with you.He looks at how you have been raised, how ignorant you are, and every aspect of your life and He also know what tomorrow might bring.The very air that you breath belongs to God.At any time He could say that will be enough of my air.What keeps Him from doing that to all of us amazes me at times.There has been many times in my own life where He could and should have done this.But He is full of Mercy and Love for the lost.His Son was sent to save sinners like you and I.Not to save the righteous.I assure you if Satan could he would have done possessed you.Satan and his imps are as hungry lions just waiting for the opportunity to engulf us all.It is God and His mercy that keeps them at bay.Why not change your mind about all of this and give God another chance.

First of all why would you want to be "possessed" by a quote unquote "demon" I disagree with Bull Horns and DO NOT deny God,invite God into your life and you will not regret it one bit.I think personally you are playing with fire by doing such foolish things with your life.If you are seeking out demons what will you gain,if you seek out God you will gain eternal life.Please read John 3:16 before you go down this road.

When I was in high school, I broke my legs and had severely pulled muscles in my back due to a car accident. For three months I was in a wheelchair, and I put on some weight. I finally was able to get up and move around about a month and a half before prom. I was still kinda in the searching phase of my spirituality, and I used to say (outloud) that I was willing to give my soul to Satan or do anything he wanted if he would make me skinny again by prom.
Needless to say, he never showed up ... and I had to trade my beautiful prom dress for one that was 3 sizes bigger. Oh well.

It seems that you are already influenced by demons and seem to have already given your life, soul over to Satan so go ahead. I guess we'll be visiting you at the caves of Geneserette. Take along lots of sharp knives for cutting yourself. And watch out for those fires... man they hurt when you throw yourself onto them. Maybe you should take a first aid kit to help with the wounds and cuts.

According to Christians, Satan already has us in his grips--they basically believe we are the devil incarnate right here on Y!A.
And who are they? Medieval minded crazies only an inch away from a good witch burning.

I think it probably will, given enough effort.
I don't think just posting it on Answers is too valuable in the spiritual world. I'd think if you are interested in becoming possessed it will take some personal effort.
What seminary are you studying in?
