There is no fixed specification for hot dog meat, with pork and beef being the most popular. Less expensive hot dogs typically contain chicken, due to the low cost and availability of mechanically separated chicken, and some pork. Hot dogs are generally regarded as unhealthy insofar as most have high sodium, fat and nitrate content.

Hot Dogs are DELICIOUS.
Of course, they are the worst kind of meat because they usually consist of grounded up leftovers from the butchers floor "figure of speech." Basically anything that a butcher can not sell on it's own, add some spices and you got a Weiner.
They can be made with chicken, turkey, pork, beef of veggies.

Noooooo!!!! Whoever told you that was lying to you straight to your face. Hot Dogs are usually made with a blend of meats like: pig, cow, chicken or turkey but definitely not horse butt!!! I know in Sicily they eat horse butt, but not in the U.S.

Hard to tell and I am afraid to ask. I have heard that hotdogs are a hodgepodge of leftover scraps of either cow or pig that falls on the butcher's floor. This could mean pig snout, hooves or whatever. I never eat hot dogs btw, too scary...

Not horses but pretty close. They contain all the parts of the pig/cow that are usually discarded, I'll let you use your imagination as to what. Some things are best left unknown to still enjoy ;)

Hot dogs are made from a conglomerate of products, laced with fillers, spices and preservatives.
It is not legal to use or sell horsemeat in the U.S.

No, that's not true.. but you don't want to know where it comes from. They take the unused parts of the animals that we normally eat and compact the leftover meat into a hotdog. It's safe to eat and nothing gross... but it's not the best part of the animal you are eating.

They are made the same way bologna is made. They may contain parts of cow, pig, and or chicken. Basically they are made of everthing that doesn't have another use, such as brains, lips, stomach. My uncle works in meat processing, and says that they use everything except the "MOO".
