I perfer bent grass but what do yall like and why?

There is no one answer to this question because it depends on what part of the country/world you are playing in. Bent grass can be a nice putting surface, but I like poa annua, even though many golf courses consider it akin to a weed. There is a perception that bent-grass is better to putt on than Bermuda. But the hybrid Bermuda grasses that they’re creating in laboratories these days are so good, they’re hard to beat when it comes to a smooth putting surface. So ... it depends on the specific type of Bermuda, bent grass, etc.

bent grass is usually the easiest to putt and play on, for more of a challenge play on bermuda, which will cause your ball to break alot more when the direction of the grain of grass changes from the direction in which it is mowed.
