Unfortunatly the only advice that i can give you is to quit, paranoia is a side effect of the pot, so if you continue to smoke even on an occasional basis then it will still get worse. Please try to quit, but if you do dont do it cold turkey, it most likely wont last and also withdrawl will make you sick. Rehab is not a sign of weakness it means that you are serious about making your life better. Since you have been smoking for so long if you go cold turkey, then you will get sick to the point where your body believes that it is actually dying, and the paranoia will still get worse. The best way to solve your problem is to quit and do it through rehab or a support group.
Good luck you can do it.

I used to enjoy smoking too...then all of a sudden it started making me paranoid. I decided it wasn't worth it and I quit. I have been quit for almost 6 years now, and I have tried it again a few times and totally freaked out! Big time paranoia...I used to get relaxed...but now now! I think sometimes our body chemistry changes and we start reacting differently to things. In my personal experience I HAD to quit because the panic feelings just weren't worth it.

unfortunately after a period of time, pot can in some cases increase chemically induced paranoia. Before I quit 21 years ago I was having conversations with myself. Not good ones either.
You have choice keep doing it, and eventually become a drug induced schizophrenic or quit. You said don't say quit by the alternative is to become psychotic. I've seen it happen to a lot of people who have said "Don't say quit".

has something changed in your life or in the situation in which you are smoking? Have you moved recently and are not yet feeling safe where you are? All I can suggest is looking into other changes or stresses that have cropped up recently, hopefully if you can pinpoint an external reason for your feelings, you will be able to deal with it and go back to enjoying your bud.
Good luck!

Don't say quit?!?!? You should. I've had (ex)friends that quit having the "good" feeling smoking pot and they moved on to harder drugs and totally ruined their lives. Taking drugs is never the answer to anything. If you're not feeling like you used to I would say now is the prefect time to quit.

Buy from someone else. The strain you have been smoking may have a different effect then what you're used to. Do you have physical symptoms? If you experience sweating, nausea, or anxiety then your green may be laced with meth or speed. Just buy some different ganj.
