I'd guess 8 lbs. 2lbs per week is considered healthy.

However if you're out of shape you will lose more faster in the beginning, especially if you drink lots of pop or sugary drinks and cut those out(I lost 20 lbs in a month once by cutting out sugary drinks, it was nuts, I've never gone back).

Also if you're going to do weightlifting, which you should to boost your metabolism, you'll lose more fat, but won't notice it so much in the scale because muscle is more dense and weighs more. This means you can lose 10 fat lbs and gain 5 lbs muscle, but the scale will only say 5 lbs lost.

Anyhow, remember to eat frequently, keeps your metabolism up, get lots of fruits and veggies, whole grains, drink 2L of water(especially when exercising) or tea. Some great health foods are stevia(0 cal natural sweetener, very strong, but get the good stuff that isn't bitter, it it's bitter they made it wrong), and sweet potatoes.

Hope this helps.

Best of luck.

you could lose none
you could lose one pound
you could lose two pounds
you could lose three pounds

the answers vary - if you suddenly consumed a tape worm (accidentally of course), you could end up losing 50 pounds.

the most important thing you need to do is consume at least 9 glasses of water daily, do strength training (more muscle means more calories burnt daily), and stretch when you get up after sleeping or sitting for a long time, and before/after you workout

and your hour of exercise should be a cardio workout - get your heartrate up and you will burn more fat

it's also better to mix up the intensity of your workout....for example, if you are walking/running - run 2 minutes, then jog 2 , run 2 jog 2 etc....

That's tough to say...it all depends on your metabolism and what not.
If it's for an important event, you could do one of those 'Lose 9lbs a Week' flush diets...my mom and I did that, she did lose A LOT of weight, but I got unhealthy and passed out.

Good luck!
