Lets be honest here. We, the great U.S., took the war to Iraq. It wasn't a country involved in 9/11, although that was one early excuse offered by the Bush administration. So we are more the war mongers than they are.
That said, war will always exist to settle scores and right situations people think are wrong. The muslims in the middle east believe in the value of war. And the United States believes in the value of war. We are flip sides of the same card.

War will become more difficult, thats for sure!
I'm in the UK, going back a few years, WWII, all of Europe was at war. This is impossible now, thanks to globalisation. Our military hardware is made in nearly every country in component form. It would be impossible to take on another country as they would simply shut off that supply and bring our forces to a standstill.
This effect is growing. It will not be long before it affects every country. Well, I hope it won't be long.
The interim will see an Arab/non-Arab devide. This is partly evident now. This will also be the highest risk time ever. Cuban missile crisis will have nothing on this when it peaks.

Actually war is already obsolete. When a war happens the first thing that is done seems to be to send in "advisors". How sick can our world be.

Unfortunately no. As a nation we must protect ourselves from invaders, history has taught us that. As soon as a country let's their guard down, someone somewhere will be figuring out a way to make it their own. That is why there are so many oppressed 3rd world countries in the world, the people did not stand up and fight (in the form of a strong government and military) and were overtaken.

No. Once a society believes that war is obsolete its only a matter of days before they are overran by a society who believes war is not obsolete.

No no no and no.
"There will be wars and rumors of wars"
People are too evil and greedy not to have them.
Human nature has not changed since the first wars.
My belief is that only Jesus will end all the war, disease, predjudice, lies, and all etc evil on Earth.
We should strive to make the world better, but no one will really change it, until the Blessed Savior returns.

Wise Guy ... No, but the problem is not necessarily related to Muslims as your first answerer states. "Wars" have been going on to some extent since Kane killed his brother, Abel. So, unless it begins to rain for 40 days and 40 nights again, I'm not optimistic.
