Has the market value gone up or down? I'm reading the Catholic Street Journal and I can't seem to find it.

In the middle ages, the catholic church was corrupt and losing money so they sold indulgences (forgiveness for one's sins or for their relatives) for profits. Today, the catholic church believes this is wrong, and therefore it doesn't sell indulgences. And by the way, purgatory is still accepted by the roman catholic church as a place to cleanse a people of sins to ready them for heaven. The protestant church doesn't, though.

The concept of Purgatory is not even accepted by Catholics anymore. It has never and is not now a real spiritual place.

There is no such thing as purgatory in the Biblical manuscripts. Its a man-made idea, and is as ridiculous as anything I have ever heard in my life.

Purgatory does not exist. You either go to hell for eternity, or you go to heaven for eternity. Either place, you will live for ever, and you choose your destination by the life that you will live here on earth.

That is hilarious!

While they're at it, tell them to show us Purgatory in the Bible. LOL

Sorry. We can't sell indulgences any more. I'll do it for free. Send me the names via e-mail.

Oh - and - I can't guarantee getting them "out". We can pray and make a dent in their stay there, however.
