When our ears are exposed to loud noise for extended periods of time we experience a loss of hearing.

This has been the case for many years, with many teenagers having hearing loss equivalent to someone who has worked in heavy industry for 20 years.

OSHA has established a noise level of 85 dB ,and it doesn't make any difference if it is music or noise. Anything over 85db requires hearing protection.

Yes, but that's why they invented earplugs and noise-canceling headphones.
