Plasma's all the way... extra recent Plasma's are no longer carriers to burn outs (exhibit screen burn).... the foremost benefit with a Plasma is that the image refresh time is below LCDs... this means that the image on lcd refreshes slowly and subsequently ghosting (blurring in layman's english) is seen for on the spot shifting pictures. that's a genuine concern at times reason video games oftentimes have quickly action and the image blurring is the extra serious concern that would ensue to you.... i in my opinion very own a 40 two" Hitachi Plasma and characteristic by no ability suffered exhibit screen burnouts. I truthfully have frozen the photograph for 3-4 hours and nevertheless no longer something of that style. As I stated, exhibit screen burnouts are a concern of the previous with Plasmas.. I even very own a 37" Sony lcd and the image on the Plasma is a lot extra appropriate with deeper shade and extra appropriate evaluation. in spite of the reality that the extra recent LCDs with LED technologies have decreased refresh expenses and more suitable image high quality, they are extremely high priced.. I say carry on with the Plasma and luxuriate in the video games... Boy the pictures look jaw dropping... attempt Killzone 2 on it... I cried when I first observed it... it is that captivating.

I believe any tv is compatible. I have a PS3 and it works just fine on my 32 inch tube tv. I would recomend a HD TV so you get the full effect and are able to use the HD power that the PS3 gives you.

1920 x 1080 pixels......that will give you the same resolution that the PS3 is capable of producing with an HD game....

Any good NAME Brand of TV will perform well. Just stay away from the OBSCURE brands....we haven't seen any support from them.....

And LOOK for 1080 NATIVE RESOLUTION....aka 1080P in the LCD/DLP/Plasma TVs.....1080i on CRT and CRT projection TVs.....
