Not just flowers, make it special! Have her friend take her out, and spell out "Prom?" with flowers on her drive way or something for her to see when she gets home. Make it big and extravagent. Make it something she'll remember for the rest of her life!

I think taking here somewhere where you can see the moon buying her some flowers and asking here there would sweet!!! actually now i dont have a date too prom!!! Any body wanna go?!?!?!?

take her out to eat and have flowers with you, and inside the flower put an invitation in there asking for a date to the prom. good luck.

Dont be blatant if your shy, just bring it up slowly, then work your way up to asking her. Dont take to long though.
