Apparently Gore said this during his testimony on the 21st.

"Gore responded by describing how, depending on the Earth’s tilt and wobble as it revolves around the sun, sometimes carbon dioxide increases precede temperature increases and other times temperature increases precede carbon dioxide increases."

Can anyone find a transcript?
If he said this does anyone know enough about cause and effect to comment?

If it really is the wobble of the earth why should we waste our time destroying our economies and crippling third world countries.

Didn't catch his talk, but it's part of the great global warming debate. It's a fact that the earth has warmed and cooled over the centuries and millenium. It's a cyclic phenomenon. The earth not only rotates on a 24 hr cycle, it revolves on an annual cycle, and it wobbles, the precession of the equinox. This wobble has a cycle time too. So there are many things that contribute to cyclic changes in the earth. It's a trendy mindset that too many are too eager to blame America first.

The climate changes, everybody except for the liberals and the IPCC already know this. It has been changing for billions of years and will continue to do so for several billion more years.

There is little credible evidence linking man's activities to climate change and there is considerable credible evidence showing that the globe should be naturally warmer than it is. There is also considerable evidence indicating the globe has been much warmer many times without any men around doing anything. Creatures that like a very warm climate, like elephants, zebras and lions used to roam northern Europe!!

It is not physically possible for the planet to heat up like Venus.
There is not enough free water to flood the globe, even if every bit of ice melted.
A warmer climate will actually increase the amount of rainfall and the amount of arable land.
Deforestation has almost nothing to do with CO2 levels in the atmosphere. 97% or more of that is accomplished in the oceans.

If Al Gore said it, you can count on it being wrong and a self promoting lie.

Warming and cooling depend on the sun, and sun spots are the primary reason for warming and cooling. Below (sources) is an artical from Time magazine written in 1974 about the comming Ice Age. These are the same "scientists" that are telling us that we are going to melt away. Gore is full of greenhouse gas!

Watch Al Gore's movie, AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH, before you listen to these gourd heads. We would all like to believe that Mr. Gore is blowing smoke, but he has some solid scientific proof which he presents in a simple articulate manner.

By denying global warming, we let ourselves off the hook. But ask yourself, why are the races starting to mix? Maybe we need some of that melanin back that we lost so many thousands of years ago. As the world gets hotter, we're going to need it.

So yes, global warming is happening; whether man can stop it remains to be seen, but we can slow it down. Don't stick your head in the sand--it's going to get mighty hot!

We shouldn't as it is based on nothing. The CO2 is taken care of by plants and photosynthesis ,so the CO2 is at a very low level and the plants will grow and take care of it.
Methane is a very light gas so how did the environmentalist measure it . I cannot find that huge lake of methane in our upper atmosphere. It is a scam as Gore is afraid u will use up his jet fuel.

The earth "wobbles" every 26,000 years. The main thing heating the planet is Gore's ego.
