I work in the beauty industry and have come to see that you're as old as you feel. I work with salons and sometimes the salon owner is a 50 year old man with a trendy haircut and clothes.
I would recomend getting a faux hawk though. Its the sexiest male haircut right now thats great for any age I think. Here's a picture of it on the sexy 30 year old Colin Farrell:

Nope. You can do whatever you want at any age you want. I have found that most 30-40 year old men look great with a VERY short crew cut (or bald) and a goatee. Sexy....
