move a lamp or something.

what sort of god would demand obedience, yet not make it clear and obvious to understand.

you can't just expect a child to behave how you want them to, unless you tell and teach them, it's a bit unrealistic and unfair.

what about people who don't have access to a bible, or missionary, are they heathens for not knowing about god

Well said.
After all if there were such a being, there would be evidence to support it. And there isn't. Not a single, solitary shred of credible evidence that god exist.
Pretty much closing the case right there.

perhaps it would be easier to believe the testimony of the 'believers' who have told us about God, Christ, etc if they all testified the same? Some preach tolerance and forgiveness, some preach eternal damnation, some preach obedience and worship.. Which is it? It's strange how so many 'believers' are happy to condemn others which is in direct opposition to the book they hold so dear and from which they love to quote..
The word God has been extremely misused over the centuries and the Church has been manipulated by greedy men to create power and wealth for the few. There are that many different churches would all claim to be the 'true' way, and so many who preach because they believe that everyone should agree with them. Jesus himself said 'I am but a man' and yet he has been elevated to the status of deity. He was undoubtedly a good man, possible one of the most honourable and loving that ever lived, but he was still a man.
As to God, all anyone has is their own concept of the meaning of that word, and it seems most cannot agree, hence the multitude of churches within Christianity, before you even get to Judaism from which it grew and Islam which is but another branch! God is everything. But only I see the concept I have for God, and so everyone else must see it for themselves. The problem arises because instead of spending years contemplating the world and the evidence, they try to choose someone else's idea, and those ideas are mostly flawed, even when they started with a moment of insight and true vision. I am still learning, and have no doubt I will continue learning as long as I shall live.

IF and that is a big if, there is anyone who NEVER in their life had a chance to hear about God, he will not punish them for that. But as far as babies and young children, they are going straight to Heaven if they die before they can make their own decision.
God doesn't demand obedience. He asks for it. He gives us free will to choose. He also understands that there are people who need proof. We are human and created that way. This is why after the Rapture, (which will provide proof), there will be a time for non-believers to make an informed decision. Life won't be nearly as pleasant to live through during this time, but everyone left behind will have a second chance.

The unsaved often want a "sign" from God. This is inspite of the testimony of creation, thier conscience, the BIble and the Christian. You have been given numerous testimonies of gods existence, but the only thing that will convince you of the reality of who christ was is the cross. Once one truly understand that the holes in his hands and feet because of your own sin, then shall you fall at his feet and cry as did Thomas: "my Lord and my God".

I would like to ask you a question............
have you ever lied? ever stolen something? ever looked with lust or used Gods name in vain? if you have said yes to these three question, then by your own admission, your a lying theiving blapshemous adulterer at heart, and you will stand before God, whether you belive in Him or not/ the Bible makes very clear, that if you died in your sins right no, those transgresions will come out as evidence of your guilt and you will face Gods wrath. the Good news is that christ died for us, when Christ died he took the chastisement we deserve. Now If you will repent (turn from sin) and trust in Christ, God will reveal himself to you and save you, he will grant you everlasting life and you will know you have pased fomr death unto life.
God Bless

God says look around you and you are without excuse to not believe in Him. For those who don't have access to the Bible, we are to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Accept Jesus as your Savior and the Holy Spirit will come in and discipline you. God chastens those He loves.

He has given enough signs. The Jews were always looking for a sign. No faith at all in their hearts, always looking for a sign and proof. God gave the Ten Commandments as a guide, and by them, know when they sin. God gave us the scriptures as a guide. We have no excuse.

here is some questions to ponder on
do you have a family?
do have friends?
do have food to eat and clothes to wear?
is there a god that wants to have a personal relationship with?

if you said yes to any of these questions then there is your sign. he gave you dome blessings he doesn't have to do that he chose to do that. he loves you and wants you to obey he gave you a conscience and free will.

if they are searching then they know there is a god and so they will tr their hardest to find out. in the process God will recognize that the person really wants to know him and reveal himself to him. God will send a missionary to him or someone to him to help him.

I agree. This whole "he gave us a book and words" stuff does not work. When a kid does not behave, and you are not physically there to watch, do you just say "dont do that?"
No, you threaten with a punishment. If there is no threat, then the kid will not fear you, or the repercussions, and continue his behavior. You cannot say "don't do that" once and expect the kid to forever obey you. It just does not work.

Jesus said, "An evil and adulteress generation seek after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah." Matt. 12:39

Repent, seek forgiveness from God, forgive others and pray for them.

There's no reason, in theory, why god's presence couldn't be measured or detected in some way. The only reason that believers claim that god "can't" be detected in this way is because god *isn't* detected, and so a vast and intricate rationale has to be devised to explain this vast, loving, eternal, all-powerful "something" which is, in every external, objective respect, indistinguishable from nothing
