I have a 4 mth old baby and would like to get pregnant again in the near future.

I had a cesarean 5 months ago and I am 6 weeks pregnant today. My doctor told me I should have waited at least a year before getting pregnant to have time for my body to heal.
Because I am pregnant again so soon I will have to have another c section.

At least a year. Your body needs time to heal not only on the outside but on the inside too!
FYI~~~~My oldest two kids are 2 1/2 years apart I had both by C-section. First one was emergency and second was planned.

i have 3 kids 53 monthes 42monthes and 16 monthes all were c-section my doctor had advised me to wait at least 3 monthes before anything but really it is up to you make sure you have healed first and speak with you doctor my dr's main concern was when i got pregnant the second time my tissue was real real thin and thay were scared cuz i could lose the baby and myself but i would wait a year so you can fully heal

I got pregnant a year and 1 week after having my first c-section and had no problems what so ever

i would wait until your baby is one before trying again. it takes about one year for your body to heal completely from the inside to the outside. good luck to you.

Your body needs time to heal. I got preg. the second time when my first was 1.

At least a year..thats what Drs. recommend....Your body needs time to heal....Good Luck!
