In TN and GA, pawn shops, gun shops, anyone with a Federal Firearms license ( legal gun dealer, many work from thier homes) , or a used gun from any private individual.

Most pawn shops have guns, but I wouldn't think that any legally operated business can sell them without a license to perform a background check.
Pawn shops are great for all kinds of neat stuff.

It depends on the state, but in lots of places, one may buy a gun at a gun show, flea market, estate auction, consignment auction, pawn shop, and from individuals.

Other than gun shops you can purchase them at gun shows or private sales. Some people just put ads in the paper and if you are interested you call them and give them your firearms licence number so they can call it in. You will need to get transportation permits etc.

try to find local swap meets in your area. or a flea market.
