Well, if you were born into a covenant rather than making your own choice for God as the Arminians claim, then the sacrament belongs to God, not to man. Therefore the "marking" that you received is a matter of God's prerogative in choosing you rather than your claim to any merits toward heaven based on this rite. Therefore if God has chosen you, then your baptism was either valid or invalid based upon his divine will, not yours.

There was a period of about ten years where I got baptised in three different churches, trying to "wash the Mormon off me". I now think baptism is a mental state.

If your following the Bible, I don't think infant baptisms count. They are mostly for your parents benefit.

Oh come on, you are using Star Trek characters for avatars ... has it been more than one decade since your baptism?
How long WILL it take you to grow up on your planet?

You know the fanatics don't consider you really baptized until you are immersed when you are old enough to decide for yourself.
Just too damn many rules for my way of thinking.

If it was was a religious thing, and that is a bra you are wearing on your forehead, then, yes. If it was a cult thing .. heck, no. Cult ceremonies are good for life, and you may wear anything you like on your forehead..
