It would have been very easy. There is absolutely no way to verify or refute the claim once the child is born anyway.

Perhaps that is why they waited until after he was born to proclaim it.

**The real reason is that the story wasn't invented until many years after Jesus died.

If God told them it would have been very easy. If your asking did they just made up a story to give the Hebrews and future generations a myth to follow, then you don't understand anything about the Bible. It wasn't written after Jesus died and it wasn't the result of just one author. The most amazing thing about the Bible is that it was written by so many different people and still holds it's integrity. There is overwhelming evidence that the Old Testament has been passed down intact. The New Testament could be reconstructed from letters set by church members in the first century who quoted the writing of the apostles.

It would be easy for the writers to add a twist of mythology to the story. But, it would not be so easy to get so many people to believe it if it were not true.

Not sure exactly what your question is.

"Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." Matthew 1: 23

As for "immaculate conception" that term is not found in the Bible in that exact form. But for a virgin to be with child, we know that divine intervention took place.

Well, they did, didn't they?

Just to be clear, Immaculate Conception is a reference to Mary's birth, ie she was not born in sin.

In other words, virgin birth and immaculate conception are NOT the same thing.

I'm not sure....What are asking?

I've read the Gospels hundreds of times...they are fairly straight forward accounts and certainly not "mythology".

If you cant take it by faith that a Miracle can happen and that God is the cause just say so. You dont have to be coy and play with the nuances of the story.

"Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son"
sounds to me like Mary was making an excuse to disguise the fact she was a slapper.
It's all down to personal interpretation

very hard.God sent the holy spirit to the writers of the bible to guide them, they will lie to God if they write the words that are not commanded them to write.
