I am 26yr old male who has been experiencing really hot flushes over my body. Mostly on the soles of my feet, eyes, face, neck and back. I have checked my temperature numerous times and it is normal. I feel like i have a fever but i dont. What could it be and what could be causing it?

I have had blood tests done and all is normal except for slightly high ferritin (*395 - normal is 30-300) and ALT level (*63 - normal is 0-40).

What about Grierson-Gopalan syndrome?? Sounds like you have a lot of the symptoms....except it doesn't really explain the "not feeling like you are in this world" symptom you have described in previous posts. But, that could have developed as a consequence/function of having this syndrome (see amblyopia)?? Anyway, I'm still trying to help.

Check out this link and click on the highlighted terms...maybe some of them ring true??:

Also, why not try B12 injections. A lot of people claim they help fatigue and combat stress....even if their B12 levels are fine. I've heard it described as a little boost.

I still think you and I have a lot of the same symptomology. Your hot flushes sound like my little attacks where I get hot, flushed, shaky, don't feel like things are real, just kind of blurry. Nauseous, kind of dizzy, all the time too, but Nexium didn't work for me. Burning could be likened to the tingling thing I feel in my feet and hands too. It used to burn, now, I think I'm used to it. It's just annoying. Gosh, IF you get diagnosed properly, please email me and lemmie know what they've found. Like you, I'd soooo like to be well again...
