Not at all.
What bothers me is when they come to me and tell me that the peace I have found in God is wrong because it doesn't match their own beleifs. That God is only available to those of Christianity. Which is a falsehood proved by their own bible - the OT.
Of course - I am also assuming that people actually read all of the book they believe in.

No. People find peace, positive direction and other good things in many different belief systems, including atheism. What bothers me is the fundamentalist sorts that think that if you find it somewhere else, it must be a lie; you know the sorts, who think that Mother Theresa was a totally depraved, deceived harlot simply because she didn't follow the Protestant Sola-Scriptura method of salvation.

Does it bother me? Not a bit. I'm one of those people. I will say this though, it's not belief in God that helps others find peace, etc- many people believe there's a God. It's belief that Jesus Christ died on the cross to redeem you of your sins.

Not at all. In fact, I know quite a few Christians that are excellent people, due in large part to the morality they are taught in their weekly bible classes, etc.
However, what I find unfortunate is that this morality has little or nothing to do with the bible, or Christianity. It's a side thing, that has sprouted from the original cult.
The same thing has happened with the Mormons, Scientologists, etc.

Not really. They have found these qualities in their belief, just as I have found those qualities in my theistic Zen agnostic beliefs. It's not neccessary to attribute it to god but if it makes them happy and doesn't harm anybody then it's okay in my book.
I am of course making a distinction between those who have real belief and those who seek to share their fear and doubt.

Whatever floats your boat, but I would think the world would be better off if people found those things in reality instead of their imaginations.

i believe that God has given me peace, direction and blessings...
if you choose to believe more power to you...
if you choose NOT to believe more power to you...

I am so happy about it really.
It is kind of free-ing to know that you have been saved through faith and not of yourselves. It is the gift of God.
I am thankful. I am happy to know anyone who feels the same way

no because i don't care. if they're happy with god then fine. As long as they aren't pestering people about our "relationship" with god.
