I recently baked some fun cookies in the shape of hot dogs. When I gave them to a friend, she suggested that we could make something similar for dogs and sell them in her (very dog-oriented) community. Does anyone know any good recipes for dog biscuits, preferably something that can be shaped or used with cookie cutters? And are food colorings and decorator gels healthy for dogs? What ingredients should I avoid?

hey...making cookies for your dog is a really nice idea..
but make sure that u never feed ur dogs anything that has sugar in it...any kind of candy or chocolate or anything sweet cuz they get diabetes very easy...
and apart from that dont give them food that has spices on it because their sense of smell gets destroyed, and thats the worse thing u can do to an animal...especially a dog...
good luck with the cookies!

Food colourings are fine for most dogs, but some are allergic to certain ones. Do consult your vet before using them.

I'M SORRY I DO NOT KNOW ANY GOOD DOG TREAT RECIPES. BUT I CAN TELL YOU NOT TO USE CHOCOLATE IN ANYTHING YOU USE. CHOCOLATE IS A TOXIN TO DOGS AND IT WILL KILL THEM. GOOD LOCK AND STRIKE IT RICH.
