If you hair is frizzy after a perm, Then it was overprocessed. In which case means that any further chemical service you do to your hair can be very damaging.

I recommend it be atleast 3 weeks after a "bad" perm that anyone even think about reprocessing there hair.

So here are a few tips, If you are not using a good shampoo and conditioner you need one. Then you need a good gel or moose to use after you shampoo and condition. Blowdrying should be skipped if you dont absolutely have to do it. Once you get the product in your hair, leave it be. Most people keep playing with it to try and make it look better or this peice is out of place, The more you touch it the frizzier it will get!!

If a person is ready to get rid of a perm the precedure I follow is giving a reverse perm. (There is no perm stripper out there that will remove it) The process is basicly like doing a perm without the rods. You place the perm solution on the hair and comb straight until the hair has lost some of the curliness. You cant completely get rid of the perm. But this process will make it less curly. This process used rather than a chemical straightening system because it is not as harsh or as strong.

First things first, you should always go back to the salon where you had it done maybe you dont want them ever touching your head again. But, someone needs to know that you were not happy. Then request someone give you a conditioning treatment for free of course thats the least they can do.

I hope I helped in answering your question good luck.

Well there is not much you can do. Once you have gotten the perm your stuck with it. Unless you go to the salon and get it straighten which would probuly kill your hair. So my best bet would be to go out and buy a hair straighten. They sell them everywhere now and they dont cost that much. just try new things with your hair. Gel and Moose will help keep the frizz down. You could always put your hair up and do up do's. When your hair is wet flip your head upside down and use gel or moose and run it threw your hair and then though it up. I wouldnt suggest going to the salon to get it fixed. It would most likly just fry your hair.

in case you dont prefer to fuss with hair straightners-- The perm would be there untill it grows out, what i visit recommend is that because of the fact that is been approximately 3 months in the past and your hair has grown a minimum of two-3 inches only save it trimmed. this is going to take weight off of your hair and could spring the perm back up, you could proceed this approximately each 3 months untill the perm has grown out and/or decrease off-- good success

Make an appointment to get your hair professionally straightened. this will take your perm out or just blow dry it straight using a good straighting product.

try finding a salon that does chemical straighting, usually cost about $65 and looks great and also does little damage to your hair!
good luck!
